Rules and Regulations The Crossfire Select Cup uses the standard "10-point" format. That is, 6 points for a win, 3 points for a draw, 1 point for each goal up to a maximum of 3 goals, and 1 point for a shutout. Points are deducted for players and/or coaches and staff who are "sent off".
Most age groups have two brackets and only the first teams in each bracket advance to the final match. For age groups with a single bracket, the final match is contested between the 1st and 2nd place teams, or the winners of the semi-final matches as shown on the schedule.
The match durations are as follows: 50 minutes for U10 - U11, 60 minutes for U12 - U15, and 70 minutes for U16 - U18. Semi-final and final matches that end in a draw continue into two overtime periods (see complete rules for durations), and will go to kicks from the mark if still drawn after the overtime periods.
Parking There will be a fee to park at the tournament. The cost is $7 per day, or $10 for the entire weekend. Please inform all drivers (parents and older players driving themselves). Try to bring exact change (a $10 bill is good). You may also want to consider carpooling. This will reduce parking pressure as well as your cost.
Parking for coaches and uniformed referees is available for free in the east lot. Coaches will need a coaches pass. A single coaches pass will be issued per team at check-in.
In response to the growing number of teams traveling to participate in the Crossfire Select Cup, the Tournament Director has worked with the Marriott family of Hotels and Inn's in the area to provide teams with discounted group rates during the tournament. Below is a list of locations and links to the Marriott properties that are in close proximity to 60 Acres Park. To ensure you receive the discounted group rate, you need to book your rooms by June 24th.
